I graduated from the Department of Computer Science at KAIST(Korea Advanced Institue of Science and Technology) in Korea.
When I was studying English speaking in 2000, I studied a book called 'Memorize deadly only 50 sentences for foreign language', and this book helped me a lot. The main point of the book was to have 50 sentences in a frequently used pattern and use them to say them unconditionally. When speaking, there is a phenomenon in which if there are too many ways, nothing comes to mind, which helped to resolve it.
I went to conferences in Spain and the United States around the same time. And I had a really unusual experience. The presentation of an American in Spain is quite audible, but none of the presentation of an American in the United States was heard. I have considered the cause. I wasn't the problem, the person presenting was the problem. In the American conference, he spoke by mixing verb and idiom, and in the Spanish conference, he made a presentation using only restrained sentences and words. For example, what I still remember is the first sentence started by a Google developer at a Spanish conference.
